Reshape power

The Charter

The Charter of the Hindutva Insurgency

सुखस्य मूलं धर्मः । धर्मस्य मूलमर्थः । अर्थस्य मूलं राज्यम् । The root of well-being is dharma. The root of dharma is artha. The root of artha is power. - Ācārya Cāṇakya

Preamble

Power is not granted. It is taken, held and multiplied, or it passes to whoever wants it more.

For the last thousand years India has been attacked by outsiders: by uncivilized barbarians, then by a trading company, then by an empire. Then by an establishment that moved into the empire's buildings and kept its habits. The flags changed. The masters of India's mind did not.

We are the insurgency that ends their rule.

We name them: the hostile hegemons. They own the causes, the campus, the newsroom, the index and the algorithm, and they answer to foreign capitals that answer to no Indian voter. We do not ask whether we may rise. We calculate how, and we rise. Every arena of this Atlas, from the ground to the globe, will be taken and held until every bar is saffron.

I

The civilisation is the nation Arena 1 · Demography & Identity

Kautilya counted seven limbs of the State: sovereign, ministers, territory, fortress, treasury, army and ally. In the long span of time, only one eternal sovereign shall exist in the material world; the Hindu civilisation. India is no accident of 1947. It is the oldest living civilisation on earth, and Hindutva is that ground up civilisation conscious of itself and organised for power. It is the ground on which every other power is built, and whoever owns the ground owns everything that stands on it.

II

One Hindu people. Everything else ends here. Arenas 1–2 · Identity & Society

A Hindu is one to whom this land of Bharata is both pitribhu, ancestral land, and punyabhu, the sacred land. That double bond makes the identity of a Hindu unshakeable. Beyond age, beyond gender, beyond caste, beyond language, beyond region, beyond sampradaaya; wholly & solely Hindu.

III

Every Indian comes home Arena 1 · Demography & Identity · 1.3, the master lever

Numbers are strength only when the numbers are one. The Indian whose identity is solely Hindutva, who holds when the economy falters, when the leader is gone and when every wind blows against us, is the master lever of Indian power. Today that is one Indian in five. The task is to make it every Indian.

Every caste, every region, every language, and every Indian whose forefathers were drawn into other faiths descends from this one civilisation. We bring each of them home into one identity: by the pull of our culture, the force of our argument, the warmth of our welcome and the weight of our prosperity. Demography is destiny. We will make the destiny saffron.

IV

Organise, or be organised by others Arena 2 · Society

Unorganised numbers are prey. The shakha, the seva network, the temple, the union, the campus and the street are fortresses, durga, and we garrison every one. Where others mobilise to veto the nation's will, we mobilise larger, better disciplined and longer. A crowd that is not organised belongs to whoever organises it first.

V

Free the temples Arenas 2–3 · Society & Money

The treasury, kośa, is the root of every power, and the greatest treasury of Hindu India sits in government hands. The State runs Hindu temples, appoints their staff and spends their offerings, a control no other faith's institutions endure. That ends. The temples return to Hindu society, and their wealth arms its schools, hospitals, scholarship, seva and institutions. The treasury the civilisation filled will finance the civilisation.

VI

Prosperity is power Arena 3 · Economy & Money

Kośapūrvāḥ sarvārambhāḥ: every undertaking begins with the treasury. A poor civilisation is an occupied civilisation, whatever flag flies over it. We build factories, power plants, chips, ports, patents and wages until India is the richest and most powerful nation it can be within a generation. Indian money will fund Indian power: every rupee the hegemons spend shaping India's mind will be outmatched by Indians funding their own institutions.

VII

Seize the commanding heights of the mind Arenas 4–5 · Knowledge & Narrative

Kautilya kept scholars, envoys and storytellers in his service, because kingdoms are lost in minds before they are lost on the field. The hegemons' real fortress is not Parliament. It is the university, the think tank, the editorial page, the streaming slate, the court brief, the index and the algorithm. We take them all. We build the universities India's best fight to enter, the journals the world must cite, the newsrooms Indians trust, the films they queue for and the platforms they live on. We out-research, out-publish, out-argue and out-create them, until our ideas are India's common sense and theirs are footnotes.

VIII

Win every election Arena 6 · Elections

The vote is the gate to the treasury and the raj-danda, and we storm it in every booth, ward, state and cycle. Every seat is fought for, every margin widened, every Hindu vote united, and every lost state is a campaign that has not yet ended. A majority is a beginning. Permanence is the goal.

IX

Hold the State, and outgrow it Arena 7 · The Indian State

Daṇḍa, the rod, is what makes law real. Every government, budget line, posting, appointment, regulator, bench and seat in the House is a limb of the rod, and we fill each with our best. But borrowed power leaves when the office leaves. So we build what no election can take away: cadres, treasuries, institutions, media and talent that make the movement stronger than any government it forms.

X

Sovereignty without apology Arena 8 · The Global Players Subverting India

In Kautilya's circle of states, the maṇḍala, no friend is permanent and every player is weighed by its interest, never by its words. Against each global player we use the four instruments, sāma, dāna, bheda, daṇḍa: conciliation, inducement, division and force, in measured proportion. No foreign capital, platform, foundation, index, media house or government holds a veto over India. We trade with all and kneel to none. The rules of the information space of 1.4 billion people are written in New Delhi, not in California or Brussels. India answers to Indians.

XI

The discipline of an insurgent, or the would-be conqueror All arenas

The vijigīṣu, the would-be conqueror, studies power before he spends it. Never overestimate ourselves; never underestimate anyone. Count everything, believe the count, strike where it shows the enemy thin and fortify where it shows us thin. Corruption, arrogance and complacency are treasons against the cause. We stay hungry while we govern, and we stay an insurgency until every arena is won and every bar is saffron.

This is the Charter. The Atlas is its ledger of power: it measures the distance between where we stand and where the Charter commands us to be. The will to power is not a mood but a method: measure, organise, accumulate, strike, hold. Close the distance arena by arena, beginning with the ground, until the whole tree from the ground to the globe burns saffron.
